1. Installation direction

 

If the installation direction is the same as the shock resistance direction of the relay, the performance of the relay can be brought into full play. It is suggested that making the direction of impact perpendicular to the direction of contact and armature movement can effectively improve the vibration and impact resistance of normally closed contacts in non excitation state. During installation, the contact axis of the relay is parallel to the ground, which can avoid contact splash and carbonization falling on the contact surface and improve the contact reliability. Multiple sets of relays shall avoid small load contacts being located below large load contacts.

 

2. Do not install too close

 

When multiple relays are installed close to each other, it will cause abnormal heating, which is generally recommended as 2mm spacing. The close installation of polarity or magnetic holding relay will affect the operating voltage.

 

3. The relay shall be installed in the housing. The housing shall not be removed and installed first. In order to prevent looseness, damage and deformation, please use spring washer. The tightening torque shall be within the range of 0.5 ~ 70N · M.

 

4. The insertion strength of plug-in relay is recommended to be 40-70n.

 

5. Products meeting the same load requirements have different overall dimensions. According to the allowable installation space, products with low height or small installation area can be selected.
